Contributions to Jesuit’s scholarship funds are gratefully accepted and are used to strengthen Jesuit’s endowment. Income earned from the endowment’s investments is primarily used for financial assistance to the families of eligible students whose parents cannot afford to pay all or part of the tuition.
Friends and families are invited to make a gift to Jesuit in memory or in honor of a relative, loved one, loved one, friend, or business associate, with a donation to the general Jesuit scholarship fund.
You may make a contribution to the general Jesuit scholarship, or to an already existing partial or fully endowed named scholarship.
Endowing a scholarship in the name of a loved one is a unique way to honor and remember the individual while, at the same time, giving a tax deductible gift to Jesuit High School. Handsome plaques recognizing fully endowed scholarships are on display in the Hall of Honors, located on the second floor of the school.
Currently, a fully endowed scholarship is $75,000. Proceeds from a completed scholarship cover the average tuition grant.
In 2014, Jesuit created what is known as a Full Education Fund, which is $250,000. Proceeds from an FEF equal the full cost of educating a Blue Jay (tuition plus the gap — the difference between what Jesuit charges for tuition and and the actual cost of educating a student at Carrollton and Banks).
