For your convenience, Jesuit uses Ravenna, a user-friendly and accessible application management system, for all aspects of the admissions process. Through Ravenna, prospective students and families can create a student profile, register for admissions events, apply to Jesuit, submit supporting materials, track application status, and view decisions.

Create an account in Ravenna today to ensure that you receive the latest admissions updates from Jesuit. Once you have created an account, you will see Jesuit High School listed in the directory of schools in the New Orleans area. After selecting Jesuit, you will have the option to “Explore”, register for an event, or apply for admission. 

Admissions Checklist

To apply for admission to Jesuit High School, prospective students and families are invited to attend any or all of our admissions events. To complete the application process, students must submit an online Jesuit Application through Ravenna, an Archdiocesan application card, transcripts, standardized test results, and 1st quarter and 2nd quarter (if available) report card(s).

1. Create a Ravenna Account

Jesuit High School uses the Ravenna management system for all aspects of the admissions process from registering for admissions events to submitting applications and transcripts.

2. Register for Admissions Events

We offer a number of opportunities to experience Jesuit. Our admissions events provide families with opportunities to interact with our students, faculty, and administration in a variety of settings. Your safety is at the top of our minds, so we are planning for a mix of in-person and virtual experiences if necessary.

➥ Campus Tour

Fall tours begin August 22, 2022

Prospective students and their families are invited to take a Campus Tour with a member of our admissions team. Campus Tours provide families with the opportunity to visit Jesuit High School during a typical school day. Prospective students and their families will encounter several aspects of Jesuit including school tradition, student life, academic life, co-curricular activities and sports, tuition and financial aid, and the admissions process. Our goal is that you will leave informed, impressed, and inspired.

The Campus Tour lasts approximately an hour and a half.

Campus Tours are intended for small groups only, so registration is limited. Schedule your campus tour today through Ravenna.

➥ Blue & White Night

Saturday, September 17th, 2022
6:00 p.m.

Prospective students currently in the 5th through 8th grades are invited to attend Blue & White Night, an evening of excitement, food, and fun under the lights at our majestic John Ryan Stadium. Blue & White Night is a great opportunity for prospective students to see how enjoyable being a Jesuit Blue Jay can be as students from our athletic teams and co-curricular organizations along with members of our faculty and staff display what “student life” is all about.

Blue & White Night lasts approximately three hours.

➥ Parent Information Night

Wednesday, October 5, 2022
6:30 p.m.

Parents of prospective students are invited to attend Parent Information Night in the Jesuit Auditorium.

This event is designed specifically for prospective parents and guardians only. Attendees will be presented information on an array of topics including pre-freshman and freshman year curriculum, the admissions process, tuition and financial aid, athletics and co-curriculars, and student life. Our goal is that all attendees leave with as much information and peace of mind moving forward.

Parent Information Night lasts approximately one hour.

➥ Open House

Wednesday, November 2, 2022
Beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Prospective students and their families are invited to experience Jesuit High School’s Open House. For those looking for the most comprehensive overview of Jesuit High School, this is the event to attend.

Open House allows prospective families to meet several members of our school community including students, alumni, faculty, staff, coaches, and parents who are all eager to share their Jesuit High School experience.

During this evening event, prospective families will tour the campus and its facilities guided by a well informed and enthusiastic student. Prospective families will learn more about Jesuit’s rigorous academic program, highly competitive athletic teams, co-curricular activities, the admissions process, and tuition and financial aid. Prospective families will have the chance to experience the school that has prepared young men of competence, conscience, and compassion throughout the New Orleans metropolitan area for 175 years.

Parking is available on Will Clark Field (cars enter from Banks Street).

Open House lasts approximately two hours.

3. Apply to Jesuit

To complete the application process, students must submit an online Jesuit Application through Ravenna, an Archdiocesan Application Formtranscriptsstandardized test resultsand 1st quarter and 2nd quarter (if available) report card(s).

➥ Jesuit Application

Jesuit Application & Records Due: November 11, 2022

Complete the Jesuit application form in Ravenna which includes a non-refundable $30 application fee.

Request records from current school using the Transcript Request form available in Ravenna. Jesuit requires three years of records including grades, discipline and standardized testing. Please print, complete, and give it to your child’s current school.

➥ Archdiocesan Application Form

Form Available: November 9, 2022

The Archdiocesan Application Form is available for download at this link.

⮩ Catholic elementary schools will make the Archdiocesan Application Form available to their students directly. Once the form is completed, return it to your son’s elementary school which will forward it, along with all of the required records, to Jesuit.

⮩ Students of all other elementary schools (public or private) may pick up this Application Form from one of the Catholic high schools or print the Archdiocesan Application Form here. Once the form is completed, submit it and the Jesuit Admissions Application along with other required records.

Form Collected: November 11, 2022

Catholic elementary schools collect the application cards from their students. Students of all other schools will submit their application card by Friday, November 12.

➥ High School Placement Testing

Saturday, January 7, 2023
7:30 a.m.

Required for All Applicants

All applicants to Jesuit High School will take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) on January 8, 2022. Applicants are expected to arrive at Jesuit High School by 7:30 a.m. The test will begin promptly at 8 a.m.

HSPT Day lasts approximately four hours.

Applicants must complete the online Jesuit Application prior to testing, as it also serves as registration for the HSPT.

Applicants must also be prepared to submit thier most recent report card or first semester grades if they have not done so already.
