Reporting Abuse
Jesuit High School and the Jesuits of the USA Central and Southern Province encourage anyone who witnesses or suspects that a minor is, has been, or is in danger of being sexually abused to report this to the proper authorities.
Reporting Abuse to State Authorities
For anyone who has cause to believe that a child’s (person who is currently a minor) physical or mental health or welfare endangered because of abuse (sexually or physically or mentally), please report this to the proper authorities in accord with Louisiana law. Jesuit High School employees are mandatory reporters when the victim is currently a minor.
When reporting abuse of someone who is currently a minor, contact the police and/or the appropriate child protection agency. In Louisiana the hotline number is (1-855-452-5437).
Reporting Abuse to School Officials
