Golf

Jesuit golf is an immersive lesson in patience and decision-making: read the lie, choose the line, commit to the swing, accept the result. These experiences of focus, restraint, and humility become habits off the fairway, helping form Blue Jay golfers into men for others.

The golf program picked up its first prep and city championships in 1932. Since then, Jesuit golfers have produced individual and team victories for generations.

Jesuit golf program favors course management over heroics and team scoring over personal accolades. The result is durable confidence that builds a culture of teamwork and accountability. The schedule keeps golfers sharp on familiar New Orleans ground.

Matches frequently use City Park’s Bayou Oaks and English Turn, while an on-campus simulator supports year-round skill work that shows up over the long haul. The program has compiled 20 district titles since 1990.
