On Wednesday, Nov. 6, Jesuit High School opens its doors to prospective high school students and their families. Every year, more than 500 families from many areas in the city come to #ExploreJesuit on the Mid-City campus. There is no registration required.

Jesuit’s Open House gives prospective students a chance to hear about different aspects of the school and the admissions process. Through featured speakers including two seniors, families interested in Jesuit can relate to the stories they hear, the people they meet, and circumstances that inspire each Blue Jay to take advantage of Jesuit’s endless opportunities. Visitors will also take a student-led campus tour. Blue Jay student ambassadors will guide families through Jesuit’s halls, in and out of classrooms, where guests will interact with alumni, faculty, and staff. Guests will also gain insight on Jesuit’s strong academic program, numerous co-curricular activitiesspiritual and Christian formation, vibrant student life, strong guidance and college counseling departments, and much more.

After touring the main campus building, attendees are invited to cross Banks Street and enter the school’s newly renovated gymnasium and Louis J. Roussel Building. Before students and their families leave, they will be directed to the third floor to see more than 60 clubs and organizations that Jesuit offers.
