Lacrosse
Fast, physical, and precise, Blue Jay lacrosse is built on camaraderie and teamwork. From the opening face-off to the final horn, lacrosse demands strong fundamentals and constant decisions at full speed.

Since its inception Jesuit in 2005, lacrosse is a spring sport of speed and strategy that rewards quick passing, smart spacing, and a willingness to compete for every loose ball.
Lacrosse blends the pace of soccer with the spacing of basketball and the physical edge of hockey. Players move the ball upfield by passing and carrying, working to create open looks while a coordinated defense pressures, protects the middle, and forces tough shots.
Every game starts with a faceoff, then settles into a steady rhythm of possessions: winning ground balls and making plays under pressure. The program emphasizes fundamentals—such as strong stick skills, conditioning, and communication—so Blue Jays can make clear decisions when the tempo rises.
That approach has produced consistent results, including three straight LHSLL Division I state championships from 2023–2025 and nine state titles overall. More importantly, it shapes teammates who compete with poise, play for one another, and carry those habits forward as men for others.
