Swimming Takes First Place in Metro Dual Meet

Swimming took first place over Rummel and Ben Franklin in the Rummel-Chapelle Metro Dual Meet at U.N.O. on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The Blue Jays maxed out their winnings by taking at least three out of the top five finishes in each of the 11 events.

Earning first place in individual events were junior Jack Jackson in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle, junior Josh Armond in the 500-yard freestyle, and senior Cade Fuxan in the 100-yard butterfly. Jays also took first in all four relay events.

The Jays will compete next in 5A District Championships on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at U.N.O.
