The student council continued Welcome Week festivities Wednesday with a Wild, Wild West-themed County Fair that featured an old-fashioned dunking tub and a bean bag touchdown toss.

At Wednesday's Welcome Week lunchtime activity, senior Foster Moreau hits the bullseye and Coach Gino Giambellucca is a fraction of a second from experiencing a dunking.

Both pursuits elicited a wide-range of dramatic reactions from Blue Jays of all grade levels. Biting tongues and grimacing while putting some English into the throw seemed to be common expressions found on the faces of the Jays who wandered around the County Fair, which was held in the Traditions Courtyard.

Of course, there were plenty of smiles and laughter, especially when teachers hit the water in the dunking tub. The faculty’s good sports who participated in the dunking — and they all got wet, but not cold since ice cubes were excluded were Mr. Matt Firmin ’10, Mr. Rolando Lopez, Mr. Rob Weiss ’87, and Mr. Gino Giambelluca.

Blue Jays of all classes, from pre-freshmen to seniors, are experiencing a wild western Welcome Week, with each day bringing a new adventure at lunchtime:
