Shut Out! Blue Jay Lacrosse Blasts Brother Martin, 14-0
Senior Arman Alizadeh had four goals and sophomore Max Murret had a pair of goals and a pair of assists as the Blue Jay lacrosse team crushed the Crusaders of Brother Martin, 14-0. The game took place on Saturday, March 22 at Muss Bertolino Stadium in Kenner.
Junior Cameron Guernsey had three goals and freshman Parker Simoneaux had two. Senior Evan Fitzpatrick led the team in assists with four.
Junior Eric Wright was in goal for the first half. Sophomore Rob Hinub guarded the net in the second half.
Juniors Paul Stapp, Tanner Burgess, and sophomore Gray Cressy were outstanding on defense.
Junior Billy McMahon handled most of the face-offs for Jesuit.
“The chemistry on offense and defense is improving each week,” said head coach Mike Brantley.
The Jays face Dutchtown in a district game on Friday, March 28 at Muss Bertolino. On Saturday, March 29, the team travels to Lafayette to face the Lafayette Hurricanes at Plantation Park.
