This year’s freshmen/sophomore couple is Jason Grana and Lindsay Salassi.

Grana, a freshman, is involved in the ROTC and Anime Club at Jesuit. He is also a member of the color guard in the Crescent City Cadets. He hopes to attend the Air Force Academy and to study medicine. Salassi is a freshman at Benjamin Franklin High School where she plays electric bass in the band and is a member of the chorus club, film appreciation club, and key club. She hopes to attend Harvard Medical School and study radiology.

The first junior couple is Logan Hornung and Ravin Barre.

Logan plays baseball, belongs to the Sodality of Blessed Miguel Pro, and is a member of Jesuit’s student council. He is also involved in Campus Ministry and Peer Support. He plans to become an orthopedic surgeon. Barre attends St. Mary’s Dominican High School where she participates in the Pro-Life Club and the historical films society. Ravin is a Jesuit cheerleader. She hopes to attend LSU to study veterinary medicine.

The second junior couple is Ryan Roberts and Catherine DeBuys.

Ryan plays soccer and runs cross country and track for Jesuit. He also participates in student council, the Ultimate Frisbee Club, and is on the Mock Trial team. He is interested in studying education in college. DeBuys attends St. Mary’s Dominican High School where she is an officer in the Drama Club and the Christian Leadership Council. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, as well as the Student Preaching Team.

Representing the seniors are Jonathan Blanchard and Lisette Hrapmann.

Jonathan is a member of the National Honor Society and runs cross country and track for Jesuit. He is also involved with Peer Support, the Green Club, the Pro-Life Club and Campus Ministry. He plans to study engineering in college. Hrapmann is a senior at Cabrini High School where she is senior class president, captain of the soccer team, and a member of the National Honor Society. She participates in Campus Ministry, Mu Alpha Theta, and is an extraordinary minister.

Also representing the seniors are Riley Conroy and Allison Dowty.

Conroy is a member of the varsity basketball team and the National Honor Society. He also participates in Peer Support and Campus Ministry. Dowty is a senior at Mount Carmel Academy, where she is on the student council board. She is the president of Mount Carmel’s Pro-Life Club and is an extraordinary minister. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Campus Ministry, and the Environmental Club. She plans to attend LSU and major in biochemistry.

The student body also chose Michael Hanley and Emily Coniglio to represent the seniors. Hanley, a member of the Jesuit football team, asked classmate Brett Dipuma to represent him.

In addition to playing football, Hanley is a member of Campus Ministry, ROTC, and the Pro-Life Club. He plans on studying business and joining the ROTC at LSU. Coniglio is a junior at Mount Carmel Academy where she is a member of the National Honor Society and Latin Honor Society. She plans to study nursing at LSU.

The final senior couple is Nathan Zimmer and Amanda Keller. Zimmer, who also plays football for Jesuit, asked classmate Corey Webb to escort his date.

Zimmer, who also plays baseball for Jesuit, participates in the Ultimate Frisbee Club and is in the Spanish Honor Society. Keller is a Jesuit cheerleader and a senior at Mount Carmel Academy, where she is in the National Honor Society, Teens For Life, and the Multi-Cultural Club. In college, she plans to study medicine.

Seniors voted Amanda Keller as the 2013-2014 Jesuit Homecoming Queen.
