In his first year as principal, Peter Kernion ’90 addresses new parents at the Wednesday night’s New Parent Orientation and Mini-Schedule.

Several administrators, staff, and volunteers, including principal Peter Kernion ’90, academic assistant principal Kathy Juhas, and prefect of discipline “Top” Abshire, spoke to parents at the New Parent Orientation and Mini-Schedule on Wednesday, August 21. Speakers gave parents an idea of what to expect and how to get the most out of their sons’ first year as a Blue Jay. Parent and alumni volunteers also spoke about how to get involved and support Jesuit through the Parents’ Annual Giving Drive, Celebration, and the Blue Jay Bazaar.

Following the presentation, parents had the opportunity to spend five minutes in a “mini-schedule” of their sons’ classes to meet teachers and learn about course work for the upcoming year.
