In District Soccer Match at John Ryan Stadium, Blue Jays Are Lanced — a Lot — by Crusaders

Charles Graham displays some nifty footwork in chasing down a ball during Tuesday night’s match against Brother Martin which took place at John Ryan Stadium.
The Jays missed a handful of opportunities to score in the first half and spotted the Crusaders 1-0. In the second half, Brother Martin made it 2-0. The Crusaders lanced the Jays for a third time with 20 minutes left to play. An impending shutout was averted in the closing minutes when senior Mason Belle kicked a goal for the Jays from 20 yards out. Final score: Jays 1, Crusaders 3. Jesuit will meet Archbishop Rummel this Friday (December 14) at 6 p.m. at John Ryan Stadium.
