Regular Order, Day 5

• The St. Joseph Society will host a rosary today during the second half of lunch in the Holy Name Chapel.
• Big Brothers who are presenting for Peer Support this quarter are reminded to pick up slips from the Guidance Office to be signed by yourself and your teacher. They can be turned in to Mrs. Tricia or brought to your presentation.
• Students attending the Episcopal Math Tournament this Saturday will practice Tuesday through Thursday this week during the second half of lunch. Current Algebra 1 and Geometry students will meet in Room 330. Current Algebra 2, Precalculus, and Calculus students will meet in Room 227.
• Choir members participating in Saturday’s district choir auditions will meet briefly today after school in Room 216.
• The Music Critics Club will meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 117.
• Admissions representatives from The University of Alabama and Rice University will be available today during lunch in rooms 121 and 122.

Results:

• Jesuit’s sailing team continued their fall season Friday night with the second event in the New Orleans Fall Friday Night series.  Jesuit brought three of the fifteen boats that sailed the event.  The teams completed four races on a beautiful night in 3-5 knots of breeze with gusts close to 10. Blue Jay 1, skippered by Jack Meade with crew Harrison Teske, had a competitive series with Blue Jay 2 skippered by Parker Lily with crew Liam Moore.  Both boats traded first and second place over the course of the day in tight racing.  Meade and Teske won the day with five points to Lily and Moore’s seven points.
