With AGD Approaching, Alumni Rally to Support Today’s Students

Coming together to participate in Jesuit’s mission of forming men for others, parent leaders and volunteers recently concluded the parent-to-parent phase of this year’s Parents’ Annual Giving Drive. To date, an outstanding 85% of incoming families have already committed to support PAG, signaling strong momentum as alumni gear up to support today’s students.

Even before the Alumni Giving Drive has officially kicked off, over $350,000 has been pledged from over 600 alumni—a record-setting pace by all accounts.

“The response from our parents up until now has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I am optimistic that our alumni will match their enthusiasm as always,” said Christian Bautista ’06, Jesuit’s director of institutional advancement. “It is heartening to know that so many parents, alumni, and friends understand Jesuit’s mission at this level. They see the value in a student body that reflects the larger world, and that makes me hopeful that this year’s drive will help us continue to keep Jesuit’s educational program in a class of its own.”

This year, the full cost to educate each student is $17,454 while tuition is set at $12,600. Because of parent, alumni, and benefactor support, no students are turned away from Jesuit for financial reasons.

Many donors choose to bridge the $4,854 “gap” per Blue Jay; others make a gift that covers the full cost of a week ($485) or a day ($97) of formation. Alumni participation at any level amplifies the difference made by teachers and coaches by ensuring that today’s students experience the same rigorous academics, faith formation, and co-curricular opportunities that shaped generations of Blue Jays.

Alumni are encouraged to sign up to volunteer now and to make their own pledge or gift early. Every gift makes a difference.

On behalf of our faculty, staff, and parent volunteers, thank you for helping keep Jesuit accessible to families from all walks of life and for ensuring that Carrollton & Banks remains a place where young men are formed to be men of faith and men for others.
