Regular Order, Day 3

  • Guided Ignatian Meditation has been moved to the Chapel of the North American Martyrs. Please join Mr. Newell and Mr. Jaskiewicz at GIM today during the second half of lunch. 
  • The Sportsmen’s Club will meet during the first half of lunch in Room 112. 
  • The Creative Writing Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 116.
  • The next round of the mission drive chess tournament will take place today during the first half of lunch in Room 311. The matches are as follows: Chard York vs Jonathan Brockhoff, Collin Castle vs Andrew Nimmo, Henry Jacobs vs Adian Nash, Justin Melancon vs Alex Grilletta, and Mikey Paul vs JP Lemann.
  • The Spanish Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 409.
  • The Blue Jay newspaper staff will meet today during the second half of lunch in the Student Communications Office.
  • The bowling team will face Catholic in the opening round of the state playoffs today starting at 12:30.  Should the team emerge victorious they will face the winner of Hammond and Rummel at 2:45 in the quarterfinal round.  Both matches are set to take place at Colonial Lanes in Harahan.
  • The tennis team will face Brother Martin this afternoon at City Park starting at 4:00.
  • The golf team will face St. Augustine this afternoon at English Turn starting at 4:00.
  • The 9th grade baseball team will play at Rummel this afternoon starting at 4:00.
  • The varsity baseball team will host Rummel tonight at Kirsch-Rooney with first pitch set for 7:30.
  • The Pickleball Club will play tomorrow during lunch on the 3rd floor of the Roussel building.
  • The swimming team will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 117. Students interested in swimming next season should attend.
  • The deadline to submit an essay for the Churchill Society of New Orleans Essay Contest is Monday, April 8. Any student interested in participating should see Mr. Trosclair in the Social Studies Office (Room 205) for more info.
  • Students taking the ACT in April and needing math help should see Mr. Lavie in Room 334. Class starts next Tuesday. You can also just pass by and load your calculator and take a few practice tests.
  • An admissions representative from the United States Naval Academy will be here at lunch today in Room 121.
  • An admissions representative from The University of Alabama will be here at lunch today in Room 122.
