Regular Order, Day 5

  • Come by Campus Ministry in Room 126 to receive a free Magnificat, a book that contains all the readings for Holy Week, daily reflections, and options for morning and night prayer.
  • Confessions today will be held during all of lunch in the 3rd floor chapel. There will be two visiting priests hearing confessions. During your theology class today, if you have it, confessions will be available as well for all students. 
  • The next round of the chess tournament will take place today during the first half of lunch in Room 311. Matches are as follows: Mikey Paul vs. Chad York, Henry Jacobs vs. Alex Grilletta, Fr. Polce vs. Justin Melancon, and Evan Crawford vs. Aidan Nash. All contestants should check their outlook emails daily for updates.
  • The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
  • The varsity baseball team will play Warren Easton tonight at Wesley Barrow with first pitch set for 6:30.  On Saturday morning the team returns to district action facing Rummel at Mike Miley starting at 11:00.
  • The 8th grade baseball team will play at St. Charles Catholic this afternoon starting at 4:30.
  • The jv baseball team plays at Rummel this afternoon starting at 4:30.
  • The rugby team will face Lake Travis (TX) tonight in Austin.
  • Join us at the Jesuit Bazaar, this Saturday, from Noon until 8:00. We’ll have great food, music, games, student performances, and the cook-off.  If you would like to work at the Bazaar and earn service hours, please sign up at the Front Desk (near the Blue Jay Shop).
  • If you pre-ordered a Bazaar t-shirt, it can be picked up at the front desk near the Blue Jay Shop. There are a few extra shirts available if you would like to purchase one.
  • An admissions representative from Spring Hill College and Texas A & M University in San Antonio will be available in the college counseling suite during lunch today.


  • On Tuesday, the varsity baseball team defeated Northshore 10-2.  Everett Denny was the winning pitcher and pitched a complete game.  Michael Brothers, Patrick Berrigan, and Denny each had two hits.
