Regular Order, Day 3

• Weekly adoration devotion will begin this semester on Thursday, Jan. 26. We will have adoration on Thursday each week this term. We are looking for students to sign up to spend time in prayer with the Lord. Please see your theology teacher or Fr. Polce to sign up.
• The Philelectic Society is holding auditions for our spring production of SOMETHING ROTTEN! on Saturday Jan. 21 from 9:30-12:30 in the auditorium. Info is available on the Jesuit website.
• The Poker Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 120. 
• All Algebra I and Geometry students interested in competing in the Brother Martin Math Tournament on Jan. 14 will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 330.  If you have questions, see Mrs. Merritt.
• Anyone interested in joining the Football Program next season that is not already working out with the team can meet Coach Manale today at the beginning of lunch in Room 112.
• Books with Beignets will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 202.
• Music Critics Club will meet today at the start of the second half of lunch in Room 115.
• The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
• The Jesuit Investment Club will meet today on the big chapel steps during the second half of lunch for yearbook pictures.
• All members of the junior class in Program III must attend a meeting today in order to receive materials and information necessary for the scheduling of senior courses for next year. The meeting will be held during the first half of the lunch period in the Auditorium. If you are unsure of the curriculum program that you are following, please ask your homeroom teacher. Please do not fail to attend your particular meeting – it is important.
• The Barbershop Blue Jays a capella singing group rehearses today after school until 4:15 in Room 202.
• The varsity basketball team will host Holy Cross tonight in the Benson Arena with tip off set for 7:00.  The jv game begins at 5:30, while the 9^th grade starts at 4:15…On Saturday night the varsity team plays at Rummel with tip off set for 6:00.  The jv game begins at 4:45.
• The varsity wrestling team will compete in the Louisiana Classic at the Lamar Dixon Expo center in Gonzales today and on Saturday.
• The varsity soccer team will play at Catholic on Saturday starting at 2:00.  The jv game begins at 12:00, while the 9^th grade game starts at 10:00.
• The 8^th grade soccer team will compete in the St. Paul’s Tournament on Saturday.
• The 8^th grade basketball team will face John Curtis at 9:00 and St. Augustine at 12:00 on Saturday with both games being played at Rummel.
• All Juniors will meet Tuesday with Mr. Delatte during the first half of lunch in the auditorium.
• Second-notice printing fees for the month of December have been distributed in homeroom.  To avoid losing computer services and receiving a PH, students should pay their fee in Room 215 before school, during 10-minute break, or at the lunch hour before Wednesday, Jan. 18.
• Room changes for today: Sophomores in Coach Orillion’s 4^th period (slot 6) PE class will meet in Computer Lab 1.
