Today is Monday, November 9, 2020 Day 4

  • A limited amount of Jesuit student-only pre-sale tickets for Friday’s varsity football game vs. Hahnville at Tad Gormley Stadium with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. will be made available for purchase today and on Tuesday during the lunch periods in the student commons.  The price of a Jesuit student-only ticket is $5.00.  Tuesday is the final day that tickets will be held for students.  Any remaining tickets available for purchase will go on general sale on Wednesday-Friday.
  • Yearbook Club will meet today after school in Room 419.
  • The General Student Council will meet Tuesday during the first half of both lunches in the Auditorium. All Homeroom Representatives and Class Level Officers should attend.
  • Juniors and seniors: Balfour’s visit to campus to take senior ring and graduation announcements orders has been moved to Friday during lunch in the auditorium.
  • Seniors: Counseling Request Forms for college applications that have deadline dates between November 17 and January 5 are due on Tuesday, November 10th. Please see your college counselor with any questions.
  • Admission representatives from Catholic University and Sacred Heart University will be available immediately after school today in Rooms 120-122.
  • Today is the official kickoff of the Thanksgiving Drive. At this time please play the video from the Class of 1983.

Results:

  • Congratulations to the Varsity Football Jays as they went on the road to Strawberry Stadium in Hammond and beat Archbishop Shaw 23-13 this past Saturday. Offensively the Jays were led by Junior Quarterback Jack Larrivierre who rushed for two touchdowns and Sophomore kicker Aiden Corbello chipped in three field goals to complete the scoring.  Defensively the Jays were led by Freshman Defensive Tackle Spencer Lanosa who had a key sack and a fumble recovery. Additionally, Senior Cornerback Hayden Morris came up with two clutch interceptions.
