Day 1A

  • All seniors will meet today at the beginning of their respective lunch groups to the Chapel of the North American Martyrs.
  • All returning varsity and JV baseball players should meet today after school in the auditorium for a brief meeting.
  • Any A-K 8th or 9th grade student who signed up for 8th or 9th grade football or is interested in signing up for 8th or 9th grade football will meet today after school in Benson Arena.
  • Friday will be the first Senior Shirt Day. Seniors may wear the official Class of 2021 shirt in place of their regular school shirt on Thursday.
  • If you purchased a 2018 – 2019 yearbook and did not pick one up on book return day in May, you can pick it up at the switchboard this week. 
  • The Teen Ambassadors Against Crime (TAAC) Leadership Program sponsored by Crimestoppers is a citywide leadership program designed to help students gain a better understanding of the criminal justice system.  If you are interested in this program, please see Mr. Ernst, who will be in Room 112 during 10-minute break to answer questions and to distribute applications. You may also contact Mr. Ernst by e-mail for more information. You can also contact lawyers for criminal defense to get in-depth details of the criminal justice system.
  • Registration day picture retake and makeups will take place next Wednesday and Thursday during lunch in the auditorium. Note week that if you are retaking or making up these pictures you will need to bring a coat, tie, and dress shirt for the picture.
  • Seniors: If you are interested in competing for the nomination for scholarships to Davidson, UFL, UVA, UNC-C, or Villanova please turn in the application by 3:30 PM on Tuesday. See your College Counseling Class in Canvas for more information.
  • Coach’s Comment: Our expectations in ourselves must be higher than our expectation in others. Don’t expect others to exceed your expectations if you are not working to exceed your own.
