The Class of 2007

Celebrating 10 years since walking the stage at graduation, the Class of 2007 closed out the 2017 reunion season this past weekend with two events designed to renew their Blue Jay Spirit.

Reunion committee chairman Rob Barrios, with the help of former chair Ian Gunn and other classmates, chose the dates of July 14-15 for the Friday-Saturday reunion weekend. The Friday couples’ party was held at Fulton Alley while the guys went solo on Saturday at NOLA Brewing Company. From 8 to 11 p.m., the ’07 Blue Jays and their guests enjoyed an open bar, delicious food, and reserved bowling lanes at Fulton Alley.

Between the same hours on Saturday night, NOLA Brewery closed out the upstairs tap room and outside balcony for the stag reception. With eighty registered and twenty walk-ins, the 100 class members made up an excellent turnout. The class ordered a plethora of NOLA beer options and feasted on McClure’s Barbecue, one of New Orleans’s finest BBQ joints that is located on the first floor of the brewing company. NOLA appreciated hosting the reunited 10-year class at this fun-filled event.
