Pre-freshmen Jacob Askar, Anthony Perez, Michael Nair, and Gabriel Sacasa take a much needed break after a four-hour-long band rehearsal on Thursday, Oct. 19. The Blue Jay Band Booster club provided jambalaya, snacks, and soft drinks for the band members who are preparing for the District VI Marching Band Assessment Festival on October 30 at Joe Yenni Stadium. The extended practice came on the last day of first quarter exams. Needless to say, the students were grateful for the relaxation and sustenance.
