The Jays finished their regular season as District 9-5A champions with 17 wins, 4 losses, and 4 ties. All four losses were in a tournament in Mississippi early in the season. Jesuit was undefeated in district play with a 7-0-1 record, the lone tie in their first match against Brother Martin (seeded #6 in the playoffs).

The Jays’ closed out their regular season last Monday, Feb. 2 with a road trip to Houma to play the Terriers of Vandebilt Catholic, the #5 seed in the Division II playoffs. Jesuit found itself in a rare spot at halftime, down by a goal, 1-0. But about 10 minutes into the second half, Jesuit’s Chase Rushing knocked in the equalizer. The match ended in a 1-1 tie.
