Seniors, Juniors, and Sophomores Usher In New School Year at First of Two Book Days

Five Blue Jays wait their turn in the Book Day line: juniors Christian Westholz, Michael Nash, Evan Hatrel, Sean Cremaldi, and Matt McMahon.
At the first of two Book Days on Tuesday, Aug. 11, Jesuit faculty and staff welcomed seniors, juniors, and sophomores back to Carrollton and Banks. Book Day signals the official start of the new school year, and if Tuesday was any indication, the 2015 – 2016 school year will be a smooth one.
Blue Jays navigated through a labyrinth of stations and tables with ease, gathering books and supplies along the way in preparation for the new year. Stations for student ID photos, textbook pick-up, and P.E. uniform purchasing were just a few of the many stops made by Blue Jays throughout the day.
Freshmen and Pre-Freshmen Book Day
Book Day for freshmen and pre-freshmen will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 12. Blue Jays and their parents should review the 2015 Book Day: Procedures, Schedules, & Resources to ensure they are prepared for their Book Day.
When arriving on campus, students should line up in the green stairwell to be directed into the second floor hallway. Book Day stations will begin outside of room 227.
