On Monday – Wednesday, Feb. 9-11, 12 members of the class of 2015 made their retreat at Manresa House of Retreats. The senior retreat is an optional three day retreat focusing on discernment, or seeing how God has worked with the student in the past and to make decisions that will lead to a greater encounter with Jesus in the future.

Borrowing from the meditation of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, the students spent their hours in silence reflecting on their lives and responding to the call of God towards greater service and fidelity. Each day, Mass is offered in the Chapel of the Sacred Heart, and the students pray the Liturgy of the Hours, the Church’s cycle of daily prayer, as the backbone of their daily schedule. Ample time is also given to roam the grounds and encounter God in the beauty of His creation.
