Senior attacker Max Murret splits two defenders and launches a backhanded shot over the Brother Martin goalie. The Blue Jays beat Bro. Martin, 14-2.

Senior Cameron Guernsey had five goals as the Blue Jay lacrosse team blasted Brother Martin, 14-2. The game was played on Saturday, March 7, at Muss Bertolino in Kenner. 

Junior Max Murret added a pair of goals for the Jays, who are 3-0. Senior Garrett Perez led the team in ground balls with six. Junior defender Taylor Anderson assisted on two goals, while Gray Cressy, another junior defender, had three takeaways.

Goalies Rob Hinyub and Eric Wright split time in front of the cage, tallying a total of five saves.

Coach Steve Krobert’s squad travels to Birmingham to face Oak Mountain, Spain Park, and Vestavia Hills on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15.
