The Jayettes dance team won top awards in two recent spring competitions: the the American All-Star Mardi Gras Classic in Chalmette High School (March 7) and  the Marching and Auxiliaries Gulf Coast Regional Competition in Grace King High School (March 14). 

The team is coached by Ms. Chloe Crosby, moderated by Ms. Nilda Rivera, and includes 36 members representing several all-girl high schools from around the city. Congratulations, Jayettes!

American All-Star Mardi Gras Classic

The Jayettes take home two first-place team trophies in addition to small groups and individual awards at the American All-Star Mardi Gras Classic on March 7.

High School Solos

Jayettes officers (Bethany Ganucheau, Emily Wild, Haley LeBlanc, and Molly Mancheski) won choreography honors, technique honors, and the superior award. The team won super sweepstakes; choreography honors in pom, kick, and jazz; technique honors in pom, kick, and jazz; and high point honors for kick. The Jayette team won third place winners circle, having the third highest score in the entire competition.
