Junior Rob Weiss put on a spectacular show in Jesuit’s second round game of the 2014 Allstate Sugar Bowl CYO Basketball Tournament. Weiss pumped in 32 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to help the Blue Jays down John Curtis, 66-60. The game was played on Thursday, Dec. 4, at Holy Cross.

Sophomore Hunt Conroy added 19 for the Jays. Senior Evan Duhon finished with 11.

Jesuit led at the half, 26-24 and stretched their lead to a dozen, 52-40 by the end of the third period.

The Jays knocked off Newman in the tournament opener, 35-20.

The Blue Jays face Brother Martin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 in the Birdcage, Jesuit’s gym. Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students.
