Victory and District is Ours! Lacrosse Jays Whip Wolves, 14-6

Junior Garrett Perez scored four goals to help lead the Blue Jays over St. Paul’s on Saturday, April 5.
Senior Arman Alizadeh had five goals, junior Garrett Perez had four, and senior Evan Fitzpatrick added three goals to lead the Blue Jay lacrosse team over St. Paul’s in Covington on Saturday, April 5. Jesuit won the district-clinching game, 14-6.
Senior Thomas Nimmo and sophomore Dominic Sunseri each scored once. Nimmo had three assists and sophomore Max Murret recorded four assists.
On defense, sophomore Gray Cressy had two steals and junior Paul Stapp had one.
Junior Eric Wright was the winning goalie finishing with seven saves.
Junior Billy McMahon led the team in face-off wins.
The Blue Jays finish the district season with an unblemished record. They’ll face Brother Martin in a quarter-final match this week.
Jesuit will face Dutchtown in a make-up game on Tuesday, April 8 at Muss Bertolino Stadium in Kenner. Face-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
