Track & Field Finishes Season in Baton Rouge

At the Class 5A state championship meet at LSU’s Bernie Moore Track Stadium on May 10, 2014, the Blue Jay track and field team tied for 32nd place. Individually, Patrick LaCour, who finished first in the 800 meter regional run, broke his regional time but captured sixth place for the Jays in the 800 meter run. Also competing in the same event was Gabriel Navar who finished in seventh. Additionally, Chris Mills took eighth in 110 meter hurdles. Finally, Austin Schott placed seventh in the pole vault.

110 meter Hurdles: 8. Chris Mills, 15.39

800 meter: 6. Patrick LaCour, 1:59.31; 7. Gabriel Navar, 2:00.11
