The LASC (Louisiana Association of Student Councils) Convention, held at a different Louisiana high school each year, is an annual gathering of high school student councils from the nine districts around the state. The main purpose of the weekend is to elect a state executive board, but it also serves as a way for students who attended the summer workshop to reconnect and share ideas. In addition to presentations by guest speakers, the convention also offers sessions on leadership and other valuable skills.
