After Strong Performance in Weekend Tournament, Golfers Ready for Spring District Play

Senior Will Dufour tees off on the par three eighth hole on Thursday at Lakewood. The Jays putted their way to a four-stroke win over Brother Martin in a district dual match, 145-149.

Senior Will Dufour, who is seen here in a fall match, posted a 78 to help the Blue Jays to a second place finish at the Barbe Golf Classic in Lake Charles on Saturday, March 15.

The Blue Jay golf team opens spring district play on Tuesday, March 18 at the Timberlane Country Club in Gretna. The Jays face Archbishop Rummel at 4 p.m.

To prepare for the spring season, the Jays traveled to the Mallard Cove Golf Club in Lake Charles on Saturday, March 15, where they finished second at the Barbe Golf Classic.

Senior Will Dufour and sophomore Grant Glorioso posted 74s. Senior C.J. Blagrove finished with a score of 78. Sophomore Carlo Carino shot a 79. Senior Alex Anderson carded an 82.

On Thursday, March 20, the Blue Jays take on Archbishop Shaw at Stonebridge Golf Club in Gretna.
