Senior Phils Present Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple Sept. 18-20

Felix Ungar (junior Cameron McCall*) and Oscar Madison (senior Connor Hill*) are unlikely roommates in this classic Neil Simon comedy, “The Odd Couple” presented by seniors of the Philelectic Society.
The seniors of the Philelectic Society are proud to present Neil Simon’s comedy, The Odd Couple, for one weekend, Sept. 18-20, to an audience that will sit on stage with the actors. Director Kate Arthurs says, “The intimate setting allows the audience to feel like they can play a hand of poker with the characters and mop up spilled pasta.”
Senior Connor Hill takes on the role of Oscar, the slovenly and easy-going sportswriter, who becomes roommates with Felix Ungar, his suddenly single, neat freak friend, played by junior Cameron McCall. The Odd Couple won four Tony Awards and a New York Drama Critics’ Circle nod for best play.

The show runs Thursday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 19, at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 20, at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 each. The audience should enter through the side lobby (through the parking lot). Seats are “first come, first served.” Concessions will also be available for purchase in the side lobby.
