Retif Oil Drives Off with Win over Peake BMW, 15-7

Jesuit-based Retif Oil scored five times in the first inning as the Jesuit-based team blasted Brother Martin-based Peake BMW, 15-7. The District 1 American Legion game took place on Monday, July 9, at Kirsch-Rooney Stadium.
Both teams tallied ten hits, but Peake BMW committed seven errors.
Retif Oil starting pitcher Jack Burk gave up just two hits and one run in three innings. He walked two batters and struck out four.
Retif Oil players, coaches, and chaperones leave Friday for San Jose, CA to play in a weekend tournament hosted by (Jesuit) Bellarmine High School.
