Jesuit’s quiz bowl teams received several honors in December. On an international level, the High School Quiz Bowl Ranking organization listed Jesuit’s team as 130th out of 1500 teams in the world. On a national level, the varsity team, led by senior Kevin Yokum, placed 6th in the US in a computer generated tournament while the JV team, led by pre-freshman Robert Cerise, captured the national championship in that tournament.

On the regional level, the Gulf Coast Quiz Bowl Association has named three Jesuit students to their grade level All Star teams based on their performances so far this year. The students named are Kevin Yokum for the senior team, Anthony Stoner for the sophomore team and William Fine for the freshmen team.
