Parents of the newest members of the Blue Jay family attended a presentation and reception in the Auditorium and Student Commons on Sunday, April 6. The presentation provided the parents an overview of the school’s history and of the year to come for the incoming freshmen and pre-freshmen, while the reception afforded the opportunity to meet other new parents of Blue Jays. Many veteran Jesuit mothers and fathers also assisted with the event, helping with logistics and greeting the incoming parents. New parents also received complimentary tickets to the Philelectic Society’s spring production of Damn Yankees. Additionally, the Blue Jay Shop was open for parents to purchase Jesuit clothing and gear.
