Alumnus Bryan Hymel ’97 made a “grand canyon of music” in Central Grocery, as a teaser to his hometown performance in the New Orleans Opera production of “Carmen” (Oct. 10 and 12).

Hymel’s opera career took off in 2012 after stepping in for two lead roles at prestigious opera houses in London and New York.
