MCJROTC Receives Outstanding Grades in Annual Inspection

The Jesuit MCJROTC program received outstanding grades in its annual inspection on Tuesday, Nov 18, 2014.

The inspection included a personnel inspection of the Battalion, drill by five platoons, and drill by the Battalion Color Guard. The inspection was conducted by Marines from Marine Forces Reserve Headquarters in Algiers and from the Marine Air Group in Belle Chasse.

One-hundred and eleven cadets were inspected, and fifty-seven of them earned the highest grade of outstanding. Second Platoon, B Company, led by senior Cadet Second Lieutenant Andrew Liang, was graded as best drill platoon, and the MCJROTC Band, led by junior Second Lieutenant Dane Castillo, had the highest average inspection score. The Battalion Color Guard, led by junior Cadet Staff Sergeant William Waguespack, earned an outstanding grade for proficiency in drill.
