Jesuit High School will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 28 in anticipation of ice, sleet, and snow forecast for the New Orleans metro area. (See update.)

As stated in the school Bulletin and Directory, Jesuit High School typically follows the lead of the Archdiocese of New Orleans which decides if and when to close schools in connection with emergencies.

Students must take all books home with them and will be expected to complete any homework assigned by their teachers, whether in class, through J.A.Y.S.O.N. (Moodle), or by email.

As soon as it is available, information about re-opening will be posted on Jesuit’s web site.

The varsity basketball game scheduled for Jan. 28 has been moved up and will be played tonight, Monday, Jan. 27. Tip-off in the Birdcage is 5 p.m. All other co-curriculars (including practices) scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 28 have been cancelled.
