The Jesuit basketball team returns from the nation’s capital to face the Skippers of Mandeville on Saturday, January 3. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. in Jesuit’s Birdcage.

The Blue Jays wrapped up December with a trip to the Georgetown Prep Classic, which has become an annual event for the program.

Jesuit lost their opening round game to Tampa Jesuit, 56-51, before beating Cristo Rey Jesuit, 64-24, and losing to Loyola Blakefield, 43-37, in the tournament’s consolation game.

After the game against Mandeville, the Jays are back on the road to face De La Salle on Tuesday, Jan. 6, and Northlake Christian on Friday, Jan. 9.
