Golfers Remain Undefeated with Runaway Win Over the Raiders

Blue Jay golfers ran their fall record to 5-0 with a convincing victory over Archbishop Rummel, 156-211. The district match was played on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Lakewood Golf Club.
Junior Carlo Carino posted a 36 — the lowest score of the afternoon. Junior Jonathan Cedro and freshmen J.T. Holmes and Andrew Kuebel shot 40s. Senior Colin Hery recorded a 45, which was discarded. Holmes, Kuebel, and Hery are new additions to the team.
The Louisiana High School golf season is divided into two seasons — fall and spring, although not all schools choose to play in the fall.
Jesuit returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 7, against Archbishop Shaw and Thursday, Oct. 9, against Brother Martin. Both matches are scheduled to be played at Lakewood.
