The French Honor Society, or Société Honoraire De Français, inducted nine new members into its ranks on the evening of Tuesday, April 8. Following a Mass celebrated in French in the Holy Name of Jesus Chapel, a reception was held in St. Ignatius Hall for the newly inducted students and their families.

The newest members of the Société are: sophomores Zach Gandy, Kyle Richoux, Darren Ruiz, and juniors Bailey Graffagnini, Seth Jacobs, James Laborde, Mason Page, Steven Stradley, and Andrew Vuong.

Membership in the French Honor Society is granted to students who maintain an A average in French and a B average in all other subjects. Students meeting the criteria are initially eligible for at least three consecutive quarters. At the time of induction, the candidates must be in a French II or III class. The primary service of the SHF is tutoring Jesuit students in French.
