Blue Jay Lacrosse Puts Up Crooked Numbers in Crooked Letter State
The Jesuit lacrosse team traveled to Mississippi on Saturday, Feb. 22 to face Ocean Springs and Lower Alabama. The Jays gashed the Greyhounds 14-3 and lambasted Lower Alabama 16-3.
Junior Eric Wright was in goal for both games.
“It was a good chance to get our underclassmen playing time and they took full advantage of their opportunity,” said head coach Mike Brantley.
Junior Michael Simon, sophomore Josh Cvitanovich, and freshman Parker Simoneaux all scored goals for the Jays.
After the Mardi Gras break, the Blue Jays will face Brother Martin on Saturday, March 15 at Muss Bertolino Stadium in Kenner.
