Seniors Kevin Mickan and Andrew Tufts win their doubles match.

Jesuit’s varsity tennis team remains undefeated this year with a 7-0 shutout of Country Day on Tuesday, March 25 at the UNO Tennis Center.

Seniors Kevin Mickan and Andrew Tufts led the way with a big win (8-4) at doubles, while Jordan Lacoste and Alex Depascual scored decisive victories in the singles competition, 8-3 and 8-1, respectively.

Adding to the victory were singles wins from senior Andrew Tufts (8-0) and sophomore Brandon Beck (8-5), and doubles wins from junior Gregory Suhor/Brandon Beck (8-4) and sophomores Jonathan Niehaus/Jacob Niehaus (8-0).

The Blue Jays’ unblemished record is now 6-0 overall and 3-0 in district play. The Jays will play two district matches next week against Rummel on April 1 and Brother Martin on April 3.
