Basketball Jays Dominate Lake Area with 66-37 Win

Seniors Chase Eckholdt (3) scored 12 points and Grant Nichols (12) added nine points against Lake Area.
Blue Jays hosted Lake Area in the birdcage and easily won with a 29-point lead, 66-37 in a non-district contest. Jesuit started the game with a strong 25-1 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Senior Chase Eckholdt led the scoring with 14 points and senior Brett Spansel added 12. Seniors Grant Nichols and Riley Conroy each added nine.
Blue Jays improve their record to 11-6 with the win. The next scheduled game is Monday, Jan. 13 at South Terrebonne 7 p.m.
