Robotics Team Takes First Place in Hamshire-Fannet Competition

The Robotics Club took first place at the 2nd Annual Hamshire Fannett High School Robotics Competition, beating out the top three teams, including the reigning state champion.

The Robotics Club took first place at the 2nd Annual Hamshire Fannett High School Robotics Competition, beating out the top three teams, including the reigning state champion.

The Blue Jay Robotics Club took home the first place trophy in the 2nd Annual Hamshire-Fannett High School Robotics Competition in Winnie, Texas. The team pulled out a come-from-behind victory, beating out the top three teams, including the reigning state champion. Jesuit competed in the regional clash against 24 other teams, all from Texas.

The team will next compete at the Regional Qualifier in the Lone Star State, facing 23 other teams. The top four from that competition will go on to compete in the Super Regionals in San Antonio.

The team is moderated by Physics teacher Kyle White and former Jesuit mathematics teacher Eric Leefe.
