Three former Blue Jay football players suited up for LSU’s New Year’s Day game against Iowa in the Outback Bowl. Grant Leger ’11, Deion “Debo” Jones ’12, and Bennett Schiro ’13 made the trip to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida — just down the road from Jesuit Tampa (high school). The Tigers, who finished the 2013 season with a mark of 10-3, beat the Hawkeyes, 21-14.
