Whether New or Hand-Me-Downs, Jesuit Rings on the Fingers of Seniors Evoke Emotion, Tradition, and Smiles
As soon as they processed out of the Chapel of the North American Martyrs, where the annual Ring Mass took place on Saturday, September 14, the seniors of the Class of 2014 joyfully chanted “2 K 14!” Gathering in the street in front of the Chapel, the exuberant seniors displayed their newly acquired Jesuit rings — some new, some passed down from fathers to sons — while family members on the steps and balcony snapped photos and rolled videos of the happy occasion. With their Jesuit rings, these senior Blue Jays officially constitute the Class of 2014.
