In Thrilling Fashion, Jesuit Lacrosse Wins State Title, Defeating the St. Paul’s Wolves, 6-5
Congratulations to the Jesuit varsity lacrosse players and coaches for winning their second consecutive state title. The Blue Jays defeated Loyola (Shreveport) in Saturday’s semi-final game and topped the Wolves 6-5 in Sunday’s rematch of the 2012 title game. Senior Austin Triay hit the game and championship winner with three seconds remaining in regulation. All games were played on the campus of St. Thomas More.
