Swimming Takes First Place in 2013 Jesuit Invitational

Jesuit hosted Greater New Orleans Metro Swim League 2013 season kickoff with a meet at the University of New Orleans Aquatic Center on Saturday, September 7, where the Blue Jays handily bested teams from Northshore, Slidell, Archbishop Rummel, Brother Martin, Lusher Charter, Destrehan, and Vandebilt Catholic high schools. Jesuit’s first place with 438 points was followed by distant second and third place scores from Northshore with 179 points and Slidell with 155 points.

The team will next compete against Archbishop Rummel at UNO on Wednesday, September 11, at 6:30 p.m.
