Retif Oil Invitational Tournament: Retif Holds on for 3-2 Win Over Otto Candies at John Ryan Stadium

Retif held on for the win, 3-2, with Forshag hitting two doubles to lead the offense. Retif pitcher Glynn Hyer ’14 picked up the win to improve his record to 2-1. Retif Oil plays Big Easy Sportsplex in the first game Saturday morning, June 29. First pitch is 10 a.m. Retif will play the final game at 6 p.m. against Refuel (Archbishop Shaw).

In Retif’s opening game of the tournament on Friday evening, catcher Trent Forshag ’15 hit two doubles to lead the offense in a 3-2 squeaker over Otto Candies. Retif pitcher Glynn Hyer ’14 picked up the win to improve his record to 2-1.

Retif Oil hosts its Invitational Tournament this weekend (June 28-29) at John Ryan Stadium. Admission (for each game) is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 6-11.
